A look back on some of the OZ and NZ groups that were around in the 70’s. All the bands featured here have played their part in the Australian music scene, and in my own way this album pays homage to all the musicians who worked in these bands and on the original recordings, some still with us, some not. Converted to reggae rhythms’ and as instrumentals, I have re- interpreted these classic tunes in a dub fashion,featuring some exciting musicians that I’ve worked with from the Byron Bay region for this project...
as my old mate Dezzy McKenna would say …’It’s only music’.
